Steel shot is the ideal material for metal resurfacing, cleaning, and stripping. S-660 Shot is a large shot size, approximately .066", used for heavy removal of large-sized castings, scale removal of forging and heat-treated work pieces, surface blast cleaning of steel plates, sections and steel structures, shot peening of workpieces, as well as cutting of granite. Choose the size which creates the desired result. S-230, S-280, and S-330 size shot produce a medium finish with good coverage. S-390 and S-550 are coarser for heavy iron and steel. S-70,S-110, and S-170 are finer to produce a smooth finish with excellent coverage. Winona Van Norman can fulfill all metal cleaning and finishing needs.
